RANGOLI COMPETITION......

On 22.12.2010 we conducted a rangoli competition based on GLOBAL WARMING to our college students.Our college students actively participated & brought out their talents & involvement.Our faculty Advisor Prof.B.Deepa and K.S.Shumyya begam selected the best participants and honour the prize winners.

INTERNATIONAL LEO DAY CELEBRATIONS.......

                      On   05.   12.   2   0    1   0   We      

Celebrated  International LEO Day along with our Council members we visited ANNAI ASHRAMAM by providing them a bag of Rice & we speak to them for their concern & conducted entertainment programme to them.We planted 30 BAMBOO Tree saplings in our Hostel campus & also in RUKAIYA Orphanage. In the History of  LEO CLUB our LEO CLUB OF JAMAL MOHAMED COLLEGE GIRLS is the first LEO Club to release the NEWS LETTER. The first copy was released by our council secretary Leo V.Ganesh & our RC Leo Gowtham.                   

KERCHEIF PAINTING COMPETITION.........

On    03.    12.    2       0    1       0    We  invited our     enthusiastic council members and conducted a Kercheif painting competition based on Global Warming to our college students.We had a panel of judges Our Council Secretary Leo Ganesh,Our Council chairperson Leo sethuraman,Our council treasurer Leo Riyas ahamed,Our Regional co-ordinator Leo Gowtham,RC Leo Saranya and Prof Loganathan From Fashion techonolgy Department in our college.Our judges selected the best participants and honoured the prize winners.Our Boys club President Leo P.Mohamed Yaser & IPP Leo S.S.Umar Siddiq ,joined with us and made the competition as a grand success.

WORLD DISABLED DAY.....

 

On 02.12.2010(World Disabled Day) our club  arranged an industrial visit to ORBIT INDUSTRY-Trichy  in which  53 members of our club participated.Our club members visited the specially talented employees in the industry.The employees(mentally challenged)  make articles out of pan seeds. We request  our fellow LEO members of other clubs also to visit the industry so that they would also have a chance to admire the marvellous works of the specially talented people.

NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY.....

On 11.11.2010 We Distributed notebooks to the students of Government school in Subramaniyapuram in the eve of celebrating National Education Day.....

CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION........

On 14.11.2010 We bestowed a baby kit to the new born twin babies in Government hospital  on account of Children's

Day celebration. 



WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY CELEBRATIONS...

On 10.10.10 We celebrated World Mental Health Day in collaboration with Athma Institute of Mental  Health And Social Science.We issued 5000 mental health pamphlets to our surronding areas such as mannarpuram,k.k.nagar,khajanagar,subramaniyapuram,khajamalai,central,junction.......Our first issue was to our Bursar R.Khader Mohideen and our Hostel Deputy Warden Mohamed salique and we also issued to our college students.

We conducted five seminars such as positive mental health,personal hygine,handling mental stress, yoga and meditation.The resource persons were from AIMSS Dr.Pradeep kumar,Mrs.Meera Ramesh-pshychiatrist ,

Ms.Elanzhiyam-yogatherapist,Mr.Salaikumar-Administrator of AIMSS

We engaged the patients of AIMSS to entertained with colourful culturals rendered by our girls for World Mental Health Day Celebration.

Diamond Jubilee Project Highlights(6days,60projects)

1st Day Spot Lights

(20.09.2010)

             

We sponsored a educational kit to a needy child handovered by MJF Lion chellappan,past district governor in the inagural fuction of  Diamond Jubilee Projects. 



We provided a water purifier to thiruvalluvar gurukulam elementary school handovered by PMJF Lion PL.A.Subramaniyan,past district governor in the inaugural function.

We conducted a blood donation camp along with victory blood bank.Our DC Lion Lr.J.Karthick Babu,Zone chairman,Council secretary,Council treasurer,and our boys Leo co-ordinator made their presence.

              Our Parent club President Lion V.Dharmarajan intiated the camp.And our college boys and girls actively participated in the camp.

We organised seed plantation programme in our hostel campus initiated by our District Chairperson PMJF Lion Lr.J.Karthick Babu along with zone chairperson,council secretary,council treasurer,and our boys Leo co-ordinator.

2nd Day Spot Lights

(21.09.2010)

       We conducted a Yoga and Meditation Practice Session in our Hostel auditorium, Yoga Therapist Lion M.S. Bargunan guided us throughout the session.  

We went on forming Human Chain around the Colloge campus for the cause of International World Peace Day.

Personality Development seminar was conducted for the final year students of computer science in our college auditorium.

Lion S.Veeresh Babu was the resource person.

.

 We released AIDS-awareness pamplet in New Member Induction meeting of our parent club.

The first release was accepted by  PMJF Lion Ashok Kumar Chordia,Past District Governor.And we distributed the pmplet to all other distinguished Lion Guests.

We initiated a Illiterate Senior citizen Education Programme in Inamkulathur, one of the village adopted by our college.

We organised Exhibition cum Sales Program by AIMSS and Mannarpuram Blind School,Trichy in our College campus.Exibhitted by Mentally Challenged.

3rd Day Spot Lights

We contributed EIGHTY free Sapplings to our College staff members.

                                                            

 We Openned a Library in the name of our Club in

Al-Huda orphanage.

We paid a visit to a Government Hospital,Trichy.

Provided sweets and fruits

for them.

And also Prayed and gave a boost for their recovery.

                                                                        

 We conducted self empolyment seminar to our Anti-Dowry association students of our college by Mr.N.Kanagasabapathi,proprietor,R.K.Metal industries and M.Malliga,vice-president of Human Enterprenuer Association of Tamil nadu .

                                                                              

We visited AIIMS mentally challenged home and provided them basic necessities.

We conducted an inter-department competition to our college students(aptitude,ad-mock,for and against,extempore,and stress interview).

4th Day Spot Lights

We paid a visit to St.ANNEYS mentally challenged home in Irungallur.

And also provided them some Basic nessacities to them.

We organized a seminar on service motivation for NSS volunteers by Mr.Rajandran,Muthu Trust Marutha,Trichy.

We organised a seminar on Excellence in Life to our colege students by Lion M.Thiruvalluvar,senior deputy general manager,BHEL.

We conducted a avioding Rally on Pollution control and for the usage of plastic.PMJF Lion Lr.J.Karthick Babu,District Chairperson,initiated the rally by flagging it on.

We distributed 5000 free paper bags to shops in central bus stand to control the usage of plastic.

We organised a Blood Pressure camp to the inmates in our hostel.

We organised a seminar on Global Warming to our leo club boys and girls.Mr.A.Alexander, executive director,greens biodiversity santuary,trichy.







We organised a seminar on Importance of Internet for Crea Matriculation school students

We oraganised Helpline posters sticking programme in chatram bus stand.

We provided a fund box in our hostel campus for sponsoring the educational aid to a needy child.

We organised a Bamboo tree plantation programme in Nalam hospital.

6th Day SpotLights

Our LEO club advisor Ms.B.Deepa and  our members gave their  acceptance for organ donation.

The certificate of their acceptance was handed over by our  District Chairperson Lion Lr.J.Karthick Babu.

We did a joined project with the Lions Club of Dindigul.

We released our 2nd edition of our official bulletin"PEARLS OF JAMAL" for our diamond jubliee projects.Our beloved District Chairperson PMJF Lion Lr.J.Karthick babu released the 1st copy of the bulletin.



CATTLE HEALTH CAMP

On 19.09.2010 We participated in cattle health camp conducted by our parent club, in poonampalayam village.

"JOURNEY FOR SIGHT"

On 31.08.2010 Our club members actively participated in the rally "Journey For Sight" conduted by our parent club.The rally started from RC school and was ended successfully at VESTRY school.There were also our club boys and many other school students who actively participated in this rally.

TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMMES

On 10.08.2010 tree saplings were planted  at  sevasangam school in which the students of 

green revolution movement  participated in the programme.

On 10.08.2010 We also conducted a tree plantation programme in District Rural Devolpement Agency.Project Director Thiru Vengatasalam and the Sub-Collector Mrs.Revathy iniated the tree plantation programme.



FREE PLANT DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME

On 10.08.2010 We conducted a free plant distribution programme in Bharathidasan University.The tree saplings  were received by Registrar in Bharathidasan University Prof T.Ramaswamy.

On 08.08.2010 We distributed pamphlets regarding accident awareness in airport.Our beloved District Governor  PMJF Lion B.Bhuvaneshwari released the first copy of the pamphlet.



OUR 1st BULLETIN RELEASE...

We intensionally participated in the Leo Council Installation & PST Schooling held on 01.08.2010 in our college auditorium.We released our first official bulletin "Pearls of Jamal".Our District Governor PMJF Lion B.Bhuvaneshwari released the first copy of the bulletin "Pearls of Jamal".The first copy of bulletin were received by PMJF Lion Adaikalavan,past district governor.

On 23.07.2010 we conducted Tirukural and Drawing competition to the students of Ayesha school in Khaja malai area.Our college Tamil HOD and Periyarmaniyamai School Principal honoured the prize winners.

Our 2nd Installation Function....

On 14.07.2010 we had the 2nd Installation function of our club with PMJF Lion Lr.J.Karthick babu,District chairperson-leo clubs and Lion A.Susainathapillai,zone chairman.PMJF Lion Er.R.Murugesan,vice district governor II installed our office bearers for the year 2010-11.
